Race for the Night Ruby – Flashing Swords Magazine, 2009

  The Black Raven is hired to steal a magical ruby from a Venetian palace. He must overcome deadly traps, a rival gang, and a legendary assassin.

Race for the Night Ruby was the second Black Raven story I wrote, and a personal favorite.
It was the third of six Black Raven stories that I’d sold to Flashing Swords. Sadly, Issue 12 was the final issue for that magazine.
